General Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Clinical history of asthma or respiratory symptoms
  • Able to perform spirometry testing
  • Willing to withhold bronchodilators before testing
  • Able to provide informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • Severe uncontrolled asthma (FEV1 <60%)
  • Recent respiratory infection (<4 weeks)
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Known hypersensitivity to mannitol
